Frequently Asked Questions:

• Are there any upfront costs or setup fees to use your service?

         No.  Our base service offering requires no out of pocket expenses.  All fees for the service are collected as a percentage of the money collected.  If desired, we do offer optional web design services to enhance the base service offering.

• How much does the service cost?

         Our service is free to all recipients.  Each transaction processed will incur a small convenience fee.  These fees are calculated as a percentage of the transaction amount.  We apply volume discounts based on the overall transaction amount so, the larger the amount, the larger the discount.

• How and when will I receive my money?

         After you instruct us to remove your recipient link from our site, we will confirm that the link has been removed and can no longer receive contributions.  Once all transactions have cleared, we will provide you with a report detailing all contributions, our service charges, and the disbursement amount you will receive.  Upon acceptance by you, we will generate and mail a check for the amount.  Typically, you can expect to receive your check about 10 - 14 business days from the time you confirm acceptance of the disbursement amount.  

• Will you manage my fundraising event for me?

         No.  We will provide you transaction detail for any relevant contributions made through our site, but our service is intended to be used as an additional resource to augment traditional gift-giving or fundraising efforts.

• What security do you employ to protect my credit card transactions?

         All browser sessions and credit card transactions are encoded using 128 bit encryption. In addition, all online transactions are conducted using the HTTPS protocol – the same standards used by most major financial institutions for their online banking applications. Credit card information is captured just long enough to conduct the transaction and then immediately discarded. No credit card information is permanently stored online on our servers.

• Will you share my information with anyone for marketing purposes?

          No.  DonationLink.com respects your privacy and will not share any information with third parties for marketing purposes.  Some non-sensitive information regarding your transaction will be made available to your recipient for reporting purposes.
